Interested in a School for
Physical or Occupational Therapy? |

If you are interested in Physical Therapy (PT) or Occupational Therapy (OT) School, the degree to obtain that would fit well with those programs is Exercise Science or Athletic Training.
- Completion of a baccalaureate degree
- Documented experience/observation in physical therapy. Up to 40 hours will be counted. Variety of experience is recommended.
- Completion of general education requirements which include English composition and a computer applications course. A well balanced foundation in liberal arts is recommended.
- Completion of graduate record exam.
- Completion of the following courses with a minimum of a 3.0 prerequisite GPA and at least a C in each. Prerequisites should not be taken pass/fail.
- General Chemistry - 2 semesters each with lab
- General Physics - 2 semesters each with lab
- Biology - required: general biology, anatomy, physiology. Highly recommended - pathophysiology
- Statistics - 1 course
- Psychology - general psychology plus an additional course
- Minimum of 2.75 overall grade point average (for all previous course work or highest degree attained.)
