Health & Physical Education

 
Our undergraduate Bachelor of Science program for the preparation of future teachers and coaches leads to a Louisiana Teaching Certificate for K-12 Health & Physical Education. This program is approved by the Louisiana State Department of Education, the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE).

The curriculum is a combination of courses in teaching methodology (with applied field experiences), kinesiology science courses which culminates with a student teacher internship in area schools.
