| The Health Promotion & Wellness concentration area has an internship requiring 6 credit hours. The Internship offers the students the opportunity to participate with hands on learning skills related to Health Promotion. The internships are available in hospital and wellness centers such as the Lafayette General wellness Center, as well as both public and private community Health Agencies such as Southwest Louisiana area Health Education Center (SWLAHEC) and Women's Foundation Inc. Prerequisites to the internship include:
